PL® Acousti-seal Vapour Barrier & Sound Reduction
LePage PL Acousti-Seal Vapour Barrier & Sound Reduction Adhesive is designed to provide an efficient seal to reduce airborne sound transmission in wall assembly systems. It bonds polyethylene vapour barrier films to metal, concrete, masonry, asbestos, gypsum, board, plaster, and wood.
The adhesive is versatile and can be used as bedding compound over vibrating elements, electrical boxes or other items recessed in walls. It is durable, flexible even at extremely low temperatures, and resistant to water even when immersed. Accumulated dirt does not affect its functionality. For best results, use LePage PL Acousti-Seal in concealed areas only.
